I was fascinated by it
From the little I read, I got the impression that this would be a story about small acts of mercy and compassion among one of the most dreadful examples of 'man's inhumanity to man' the world has ever known. It's a period of history about which I think we should know as much as possible to ensure it is never forgotten. I think it may be a harrowing read, but an oddly fascinating and worthwhile one.
