As a fan of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, The Book Thief and The Diary of Anne Frank, this makes me super excited. I feel like this is would impact me in a similar way to those amazing books did. War-time fiction is so emotionally hard-hitting for me, especially the concentration camp stories that I've consumed. This appears to be a combination of all three stories detailed above, and that is something I definitely want to read.
I also love this cover, it's so ominous and bleak and it quite clearly reflects the content of the book. Very very excited for this.
