Well this book gets all the stars from me, I absolutely loved it and I feel so overwhelmed after reading it. I love history and studied it for my degree and so stories like these I feel very strongly towards.
I was so involved in Lale and Gita and their story and never wanted the book to end. The only negative I have is it wasn’t long enough and I felt some parts skipped quite a lot in time. I would have liked the book to have been longer and more aspects of their life could have been explored. Regardless, i still thoroughly enjoyed it.
I would recommend this to everybody and will be keeping this on my shelf to read over and over again. It’s so important for books like this to exist and I think it’s wonderfully written.
