This book is based on the true story of the Tattooist of Aushwitz. Its obviously set during the holocoust and documents one mans story of what happened there and the love story that happened to come from that time.
THis book was brilliant such a harrowing read with the horrorsthat are described in this book and it makes you realise quite how easy we have it now. But I really enjoyed this story. THe writing style was really easy to follow and I think I read most of this in one sitting.
It is a very much recommended book and it was also fascinating to read the authors notes on how she tracked down the person in which the main character was based on. The horrors must never be forgotten and books like this make it so.
