An incredibly moving book that I believe everyone should read to help gain a true insight into what life was like for those that experienced the horrors of the holocaust.
I could feel Lale's anxiety as he risked his life to see the woman he fell in love with inside the concentration camp.
The story this book tells will stay with me for a long time. Despite the horror of what is going round them the love between Lale and Gita is wonderful and had me holding on to hope throughout that their love would overcome their experience.
