WW II it's one of the topics that interests me the most. Its unbelievable that so many people in the same camp, in this case, Auschwitz, can have so many different experiences.

The book tell us the story of Lale, and his experience in Auschwitz. What I enjoyed the most in this book is not the fact that he had the particular job of tattooing the prisoners arriving in the camp, but the fact that in a middle of the war, in one of the worst places to be at that time, Lale found love. And that is what makes this story so special.

In general, this is a book that the most could read since is not as graphic as other type of WW II books.
The reason I don't give 5 stars to the book is because I wanted more of raw reality. I wanted to know more of Lale's life before war and in the camp, I wanted more details of what he witnessed.
In other way, that is the reason I think so many people will enjoy it.
