This is a historic tale based off a true story of a man in WWII who was forced to become the tattooist and fell in love with a beautiful women and made it his life’s mission to be with her.
The story is full of pain and truth and well as love and passion it depicts the terrors faced by the Jewish people but also portrays the strength of all involved. The ending left me in tears and the writing style allows you to connect with the characters as they face such a harsh fate.
The plot is easy to follow and the language is gripping and flows so beautifully that it’s impossible not to fall in love with the story.
Definitely recommend if you want something real and heartfelt but also romantic because it does tug on your heart strings in all the best ways! There is also a sequel which follows another of the main characters if you want to carry on with the story too
