Such a moving book - this book was a very heartaching one, as well as a very moving one. for everyone that reads it, it is a reminder of how cruel the world once was, and how things such as the holocaust just should not have happened. Through-out the entire book, i was very emotional because of the reality of this, and how it is based off of true story. it is also the reality of the extreme behaviour that some humans had.... as well as it being heartbreaking and making you sob, it is also a very uplifting book, and was beautifully written - i could not put it down, and read it in one or two sittings. if you liked this one, you should definitely read the sequeal to it: Cilka's journey
