A heart wrenching story that is told so well you feel you're part of the story. You witness how these two innocent young adults are stripped of their belongings, pride, self esteem, dignity but not of their hope and humanity.

Very easy to read and very difficult to put down, it gives a first hand insight into the concentration camps and the cruel and insidious behaviour of the S.S officers. The fact it is a true story it is much more fascinating and emotional to read.

Heather Morris has resurrected an amazing story through Lale Sokolov and detailed everything to the smells and stitching that makes the story so gripping. I don't want to give anything away about the book but I would highly recommend it, again easy to read no matter what reading level you're on!
