This is an AMAZING book that is set in the darkest poin of world war 2. It is a great story about how true love can be found in times of segregation, anti-senemitism and one of the darkest times in modern history.
The way Gale finds Gita brings a tear to my eye every time i read it. The message from this story is that hope cna come from the darkest times and that war can bring the monsters out in some people but the best in others.
It is a really good book in my opinion, very eye opening and you can shed a tear or two reading the novel because it is just so powerful and raw.
The heart aching love story between both characters is just so painfully beautiful and unique.
