This book was amazing! It was sad and heartbreaking and difficult to read at times but also heartwarming and lovely. It gave me an insight into things that happened. I would recommend everyone reading this book. I loved the extras at the end, they were beautifully written. Lale was such an interesting person who clearly would stop at nothing to be with Gita, it was very moving to read their love story and to find out what happened after. It would be nice to read it from Gitas side too, it’s fascinating to read about something that happened before I was even born and how Lale coped with it. The cover of the book is brilliant absolutely perfectly goes with the storyline. This book was one of my favourite reads of the year!
