An emotionally gripping story set in the 1940's between lale and Gita. This book was perfectly written and gave the true story the justice it deserved. Heather Morris writes this story so perfectly. It's filled with such love and selflessness considering the awful conditions they endured. A true belief of the horrible time that was Auschwitz.
I loved the personal touches the book delivered at the end. The family photos and thoughts. I managed to finish this book in two days, because it was so gripping that I couldn't put it down. The ending did seem a bit rushed to me, but apart from that, it was the most outstanding book I have read to date. I never thought I would get into a book like this but I'm so glad I bought it.
