Heather Morris grips from the beginning. Lale's story is a must read for anyone interested in the lives of people persecuted under the Nazi regime. The story of love and survival tugs at the heart strings throughout the novel showing that no matter what true love can always be found and kept and that separation may not be the be all and end all of a relationship but it may strengthen it. Morris' amazing storytelling perfectly accompanies the story of Lale Sokolov, the Tattooist Of Auschwitz.

The novel once started is hard to put down. Personally only took me a day to finish as I was so fixated on finding out what happened over each page. Absolutely gripping from cover to cover. The book is so moving and confrontational towards the readers emotions that it will make them feel things they didn't expect to feel simply by reading a story of a person that they have never met.

Definitely worth the read. Not just one time but several times.
