This book was amazing
I loved reading about their story and the journey he made
From the start he struggled he was punished for just living
But he refused to accept this
He refused to be beaten down
He did everything he could to save others to feed the young and help those who struggled within the camp
He managed to save lives and he found love along the way
After he entered the camp he realised a lot of things about himself his future his reason for living
He sacrificed himself for his family for his friends and he was punished for doing so just because of his religion
I also love the fact that this is a true story
The writer worked with him to understand his past and his struggles while in the camp and after leaving the camp
He managed to portray emotion and feeling and so much depth within his writing
This book made me feel so much and made me understand the horrors of the holocaust that little bit more for which I am really thankful
