This book is fantastic, I could not put it down!
The book is about Lale's story of how he survived Auschwitz and the true horrors he experienced. It is a raw story which made me feel a mix of emotions from angry to sad to happy. I feel everyone should read this book just to appreciate what happened. It is an uplifting story which demonstrates the power people have and what someone will be prepared to do for the person they love.
I visited Auschwitz last year and saw the haunting buildings which I will never forget. It is awful to imagine what those people went through.
