So this is my first history book I've read.
I learnt about about the war in school like most, but now being nearly 30 I still know very little about it.
So I decided to sort myself out a give this book a read. I've seen it everywhere so I thought it must be good...
Let me tell you this is fantastic.. it's so raw and heart breaking it hard to believe it's actually real. What the tattooist had to do and had to go through is unbelievable and unthinkable.
Having Cilka within this book and a part of her story being told I went straight out and bought her story.. then about 5 more books to do with the Auschwitz.
I want to know more and more about it, all from this book.
It's not an easy read but it's truthful and honest and thats what I love about this book.
It's a 4 star from me as I still have lots of questions I want answered from the tattooist story.
Definitely recommend for everyone
