We are all aware of the harrowing time the holocaust was. It’s hard to believe someone could find love in such a horrible place, when your unsure if death is around the corner.
I loved the style the author has written this in, it doesn’t take away from the cruel and terrible state that people had to live in day by day.
But Lale, he intrigued me and makes me want to read on..hopefully he’s a survivor.
I am hooked, especially as it is true to life. The way it has been written helps you to envision the camp, the way the author has described things really help you connect and make it easy to feel empathy towards the characters.
I can’t wait to learn about Lale’s love and the relationship he may have in such w dismal place.
