This book is so well written. It is written from the stories and filled in blanks of the tattooist of Auschwitz and Birkenau. It is so enthralling and heart breaking every detail is given so finely.one cant help but be horrified by what is such a harrowing telling of part of histories scariest and dangerous time. the story follows Ludwig " Lale " Sokolov's retelling of his experience in the concentration camps. The characters lale and Gita inspire hope and courage. their story and how they survived the holocaust is humbling and unbelievable. Their story is despite the horror a beautiful one showing that humanity and kindness survive beyond cruelty. This book I would recommended read to anyone. Absolutly heart wrenching
