This is a true story about a Slovakian and Jewish man and woman who bravely survived Auschwitz. During his time there, Lale Sokolov was given the job as a tattooist. This meant he had to tattoo the numbers on to everybody that came through into the concentration camp.
The writing style is quite easy to read which I suppose is for the better as this is a true story. This is honestly such a heartbreaking read but is totally worth it for the insight into the life of the prisoners of Auschwitz.

I recommend you read this book because although it is a hard subject to read about, it is history and you need to learn the truth somehow.

I give this book 5 stars because both the book and the cover are absolutely wonderful!
