Ive never known a book that I couldn’t put down. I read the whole thing in a day.

I like how the author gave a feeling of a first person plot though it was third throughout. By the end of the book I felt as though I knew Lale, and would often find myself infutiated by the decisions that he makes.

I’m sure that there are many similar untold stories of the holocaust, and it’s fantastic to see that some of them are being shared with us today. Although the holocaust was an absolute heinous act in history it sheds a light on the humanity that people can show one another during such severe hardships.

Another thing that kept me reading was the fast paced journey that you are taken on, and the story is told in a way that the chapters are sometimes only a couple of pages long yet fill you with imagery and constant developments of the story.

I would 100% recommend this book (in fact my Grandma has already borrowed my copy!).
