An unconventional love story of two Holocaust surviours: a tattoo artist and a girl he tattooed.

I read it in about 4 hours. Such a compelling story and I couldn't put it down. I loved the writing style and it just felt... true. I knew it was real, so I wanted to do them the justice of reading their story.

I'm an absolute history nut, and have since expanded my collection of Auschwitz stories. I felt like I was learning, but in a far more interesting way than school.

It tied in with other novels I've read on the subject and the bits of information learned from school which proved to me the accuracy of what I was reading.

A real love story from two real-life people and a happy ending that made my heart melt and my eyes cry.

Absolutely urge everyone to read this - it's an easy read, beautiful story in the most tragic way, and historically accurate.

Fascinating in the most horrific way.
