What can I say about this book except wow! It was sad, compelling and very very heart rendering. It actually made me cry and haunted me for a very long time. This wonderful book should be read by everyone to give them an insight into what happened to the Jewish people during the Second World War. Sometimes I found it too terrible to carry on reading and yet other times I just could not put it down.
It’s not a long book but it’s an empowering read. I loved the fact that at the end of the book the author had put in photos and actual lists from the concentration camp, which I found very interesting but, also helped you the reader to cope with the story you had just read. Wonderful, but very sad.
