I really enjoyed this book!! The author did a great job of keeping it historically accurate whilst also telling a beautiful, yet upsetting story. I fell in love with the characters and almost felt as if I really had a good idea about what they were going through. This book really helped to show that the people in the camp were just that, people and had feelings and relationships and I loved the way we got to see this. I’m also glad there wasn’t a whole bunch of German or polish in it like some books often do. The chapters were a good length abs this book actually managed to get me out of a reading slump:) shortly after finishing the book I took a trip to aushwitz and like I said everything said in the book is extremely accurate and it was amazingly interesting to see the place where such horrible things happened, but I enjoyed being able to see how it actually looked when the story played out. Overall I really enjoyed the book!!!
