This is a book set in the war telling the story of the main character Lale and his time at Auschwitz from when he arrives to becoming a tattooist and the love he finds through one of the people he must tattoo a number onto. It follows his story throughout his time there in an incredibly beautifully written way and is very educating to anyone interested in things such as the war and what went on that we may not of heard about.

This is a hard hitting book and tells the truth behind what went on in Auschwitz but is also definitely worth a read if you are interested in anything surrounding this time and what went on.
