This book is one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time. It was a good, face paced, making it difficult to put down and made me want to read on. I believe that it shows a good insight into the horrors that occurred at Auschwitz and how the people struggled, particularly since it is based off a true story. Not only that but I really enjoyed the information at the back about Lale and Gita and what happened to them after Auschwitz. Overall I loved this book and would most definitely recommend it to anyone as not only is it historical, but it has the most beautiful romance story tied in there, showing that love truly can be found in the strangest of places. Not only that but I was actually a big fan of the cover work, however it didn’t make me want to read this book any more.
