This book is absolutely incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is a truly abhorrent part of our histories that should never ever be forgotten and stories like this keep the memories alive. This wonderful novel absolutely tugs at the heartstrings and shows the incredible spirit and stories that were the undercurrent of Auschwitz.
The writing style of this book is particularly good, very descriptive with a way of making you able to truly envision the situation and characters in your minds eye. I enjoyed the characters and their depth, the story they had to tell and the message it illuminates.
