Everything from the characters to the plot was really good. The fact that we knew so much about the characters individually even when they barely even knew each other's names made you as a reader, connect with then so much more.

The way he acted, the way he talked and the fact that he knew how to speak multiple languages was very surprising. Lale had a fairly good idea of what was about to happen to him and throughout the whole story, he didn't let anything bad that happened to him, dictate his future. In fact, it inspired him and fueled his dream for freedom even more.
