This is a heart breaking love story. The setting itself is unsettling and he way the writer describes the surroundings and interaction between our two main characters is beautiful. I got the real sense of life during that time in the detailed descriptions of the setting. The chemistry between our two main characters is electric. The sadness of circumstance is overshadowed by the spark between these two. Towards the end of the exert I was getting frustrated because it was ending soon and on a cliff hanger too. The writing style is easy to read and can be done so in one sitting. This isn’t just a book about romance it’s a memoir of a time where love was forbidden and a book I would love to and must finish reading.
