I really enjoyed this book, it was very emotional! I really fell for the characters. It was an emotional rollercoaster.
I loved the writing technique, at times it was difficult to read but the insight into these camps and the conditions was amazing.
I loved the "positive" outlook on such a horrible environment. The characters and the environment were very well detailed.
It was an extremely interesting and inspiring tale with a sprinkle of romance throughout, based on a true story. If I am honest, I really wish we got more information about the other prisoners, and what happened to them.
Overall I loved this book and I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes historical romance books.
