I don't normally read books like this one but after reading this one I will definitely read more of Heather Morris's work.
The Tattooist of Auschwitz is an amazing account of Lale and Gita's impossible love story - its brutally honest and has you rooting for them the whole way through.
Its not possible for us to really imagine what it was like being in the camps but this account does an amazing job at trying to convey the horrors.
I loved seeing the character's and their relationships evolve throughout the book, and especially loved the end of the book where you learn about Heather and Lale's real life relationship and hear from other members of his family.
Amazing book on a dreadful experience but one that everyone should read.
