The Tattooist or Auschwitz is a well written love story. But this is all it is, however Its a great read but I found that some of the details had been brushed over and there was no real description of what it was really like, in favour of Lale and Gitas story. Even then, the last couple of chapters felt rushed and I was a little upset That there wasnt much of Lales story. As invested as I felt in the story, There could have been more. Its a perfect book for those looking for a love story. Those who want some history are better off reading another book!
