I’m half way through this book and being a massive fan of Boy In the Stripe Pyjamas I was really looking forward to reading this story. I’ve never read anything by Heather Morris but the blurb really intrigued me and now that I am reading this I would love to read some more written by her. As soon as I started reading, I immediately started to feel for the main character Lale and his horrible situation. It’s charming to read about his relationship with Gita and how far he would go risking his life for his love. It was really horrible to read about the cruel treatment and the odd occasion where they would brutally murder for no reason or because they were sick. I’m throughly enjoying this!!!
