I read this book through netgalley before it came out and found it so beautiful. It’s based on a true story, and knowing that made it so beautiful and moving and emotional, I genuinely did cry at this book.
The holocaust was such a horrible thing to happen, but books about it fascinate me so I really did feel like I had to read this and I am very glad I did.
The writing was incredible, and the story of a man working such a horrible job in auschwitz to help save and protect others is so beautiful. Im glad we were able to experience this story, and I will most definitely read the second book when it comes out later but this year.
