I’m currently learning about concentration camps for my course, this gave you an interesting insight into all the people involved in one.
While trying to gain some more knowledge on the subject I turned to fiction to see how story’s of concentration camps are portrayed and I must admit this book did it very well.
I think when writing historical fiction, especially on something as horrific as Auschwitz you must do a lot of research and make it somewhat realistic. I think this is definitely a book that should be read by all, even just from the preview I expect a great book.
I’ve read the librarian of auschwitz and if it compares, then it will be an amazing read. I don’t know much about the author but they certainly write about these subjects in a beautiful way, I very much hope to visit Auschwitz one day and this definitely solidified that wish.
