What a hero & I understand what his job was but he needed to survive & he acknowledged how disgraceful it was too.
The last chapter & afterwards (the info page) I couldn’t hold back tears. Just overwhelming what him & Gita went through & how they made it - married, child & then sadly passed away :(
Would so read it again & looking forward to reading Cilka’s journey.
I also visited Krakow in February and like reading the book, it was such an amazing trip but so sad that I got to visit some places that are so sad in our history!
