At first when I heard people raving about this book I thought it was going to be a fad type of book one that would be forgotten quickly but when I started it I couldn’t put it down and realised that this is the type of story everyone should read.
When reading it I forgot it was real life especially one some of the real harrowing parts but then when you get to the love parts you realise that even though these people were subjected to horrendous acts they also made the most of their situation.
The book was well written but I feel like it needed to be longer and felt very rushed towards the end. The beginning was great with the background and the middle with the nitty gritty had me on the edge of my seat but I was disappointed it ended so abruptly.
