I don't know where to begin with this book, it's not a nice book but it is a very good one, because of the subject it covers! It's one of those books that gets you right in the stomach, leaving you feeling as if you had been badly winded. It makes you feel so powerless but at the same time so wondering how anyone can have survived that place, let alone to fall in love and spend the remainder of their days together. Lale and Gita's love for each other was very special and probably something that not many people will ever experience. As you learn of the things that they had to do, basically to survive, it's makes you feel proud to have had this chance to read this book and find out all about them. The author Heather Morris has done a brilliant job in describing everything. This book is happy, sad and harrowing but above all it's one that should never be forgotten.
