I read this book in 3 days, it kept me hooked constantly, I didn’t want to put it down. It’s such an empowering and emotional story that I am thrilled has been shared with the world. As a reader, I felt I knew Lale and Gita personally, making it more emotional. I am go glad that the two got the ending they deserved. It was fascinating and at times i was on the edge of my seat reading this book, the whole way through i was praying that the couple got the life they wished for. I was recommended this book by my sister, my other sister is also reading this book. This book gives me a sense of what it was like to live through such a horrific event in history, helping me to appreciate what I have now. 100% recommend. What a story!
