Auschwitz has always intrigued me, is it a good thing? I dont know, but im going to visit Auschwitz next year following completion of this book.
This book tells the true heartache and fear that each individual suffered whilst in these disgusting camps. Reading what an individual witnesses and goes through everyday for 3 years really does highlighthow we all take life freedom and the law for granted - but more so makes you wonder how Hitler was able to get away with it.
Its well told and grips your attetion from the start.
Lale is definately a sweetheart that i would loved to have met, maybe a little terror in his later years but christ if you can live through Auschwitz you can do anything.
