This book was so insightful and I would recommend it to anyone to read. I audiobooked this as I saw it everywhere but never got round to buying it and I was not excpectijg to enjoy it as much as I did. I felt like I heard a very different side of the concentration camps and the love story was heart breaking and heart warming at the same time. I loved hearing about how the author described all the people that the character encountered and how I built up relationships with them. Seeing how the prisoners did some unspeakable jobs just to survive was harrowing and I didn’t know that they did all that. To survive 3 years in hell then to be a prisoner again must have been a horrible experience. Must read.
