This was a book with an incredible journey - I felt as though I was right there with them living every emotion. The Highs and lows of this book are almost hard to remember that this is based on a true story and that these people lived this . This needs to be read so that the horrors are never repeated. I will be recommending this to all of my friends.
There are scenes that will stick with me and some I will not be able to shake. The lengths that people will go for love makes you believe in it. What these two people have and we’re able to find even in the darkest pit of humanity makes you realise that hope and light prevails and their perseverance and will to survive when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds will never cease to amaze me.
