My first thought after seeing the cover and blurb was that this book would be really dark. Based on the subject matter, these types of stories usually are and I wasn't sure if it would be too depressing. However, after reading the first few chapters I am very intrigued to find out more about what happened and it looks like a really interesting mystery.
