Right from the very first page, the mystery, intrigue, drama and emotion is apparent. I instantly want to know who Victoria is, why the journalist wanted her story, and what drove her to her actions. To then be introduced to the main setting of Temple House, and Louisa, opens up more questions and sets the scene in both the past and the present really well. I find the title and the front cover enticing, too.
