The cover itself does not reveal much about the novel. But the cover still has an eerie vibe to it. The title does reveal some of the plot.
The blurb would definitely attract any readers or fans of thriller books. I bought that the blurb was written in such a way, that it’d be hard not to consider reading the book.
The storyline and plot do seem very interesting. Although maybe predictable, I know for sure that I will end up liking the book as I do love a good thriller.
On the other hand, the characters seemed to be a bit bland. I couldn’t not find any distinguishing traits or mannerisms. I hope this will change as it is only the beginning of the novel.
The writing style flowed well and fit the genre. But I thought that too many details were given. The descriptions were a bit too excessive and it took away from my reading experience. I eventually ended up skimming through some parts.
