The cover called to me, it's dark and interesting. The synopsis sounds really interesting and something I could really get my teeth into.
On reading the first impression I'm not so sure, the writing style feels very trying, it's very discriptive which is great but a but too much and like the author is trying very hard.
I wasnt blown away by it but not totally put of either. I'd like to see where it goes though but potentially could be a hard read.
