This story takes place both in the present and in 1990. It all begins when a young journalist gets the task of writing a series of articles on a scandal that was centred around a local Catholic boarding school and involved the disappearance of a local 16 year old girl and one of her teachers.
This story covers some taboo subjects such as the young male teacher and female pupil situation. Also , it makes us remember what it was like to be a teenage girl with unexplained infatuations and jealousy among friends and fellow pupils at school. The ending was much different from what I expected it to be and there certainly was a twist in the tale
I liked the style of writing because being set in two different time zones , the story kept me alert.
