This book is such a good debut novel, and had me engaged til the end. It was so hard to put down. The plot focuses on Louisa who is from a broken home and is sent to Temple House boarding school Temple house. It is here that she meets Victoria and the enigmatic art teacher Mr Lavelle. Strong bonds are formed at the boarding school especially between the three and what creates a love triangle. This then causes love, jealousy, and rage which culminates in Louisa and Mr Lavelle running away together.
The story is taken up by a journalist years later who looks into the cold case of the missing couple again with some interesting plot twists to boot.
I really enjoyed this book and considering this is a debut I look forward to seeing more work from this author! One to watch!
