Firstly, I will keep on saying this... the cover is gorgeous! Secondly, I very much enjoyed this book from the get go. Though it was somewhat a slow burn, it seemed to work well for the story making it more dark and tense. The eery story of the teacher and student gone missing for over 20 years from a Catholic school immediately sets the scene and the rest of the book does not disappoint. Rachel Donohue does an incredible job at keeping up the suspenseful atmosphere throughout and her journalistic approach in this genre is refreshing compared to the "experienced detective". Overall, this was well worth the read and I shall be suggesting it to friends and family who like similar things! Thank you for this read!
