This wasn’t quite as I expected it to be but turned out to be a good who - dunnit. I found it a quick read, a few twists and turns and for the most part you have no clue what has happened 🤷🏻‍♀️ The last few chapters tie everything up nicely. Overall I enjoyed it. The story is told for the most part from the point of view of Louisa, the missing girl and the journalist trying to uncover previously unknown information. The first few chapters of the book give you the sense that you’re missing something and it feels a bit hard to get into but that soon fades away and you find yourself consumed with wanting to know what happened, why and how. The writing style is good and the plot ties up nicely.
