The Temple House Vanishing is set in a private girls boarding school which is run by nuns. Most of the students come from wealthy and powerful families who do not like the newest student Louisa who is on a scholarship place. This has all the typical stories you would expect of a boarding school run by nuns but there is also a deeper story of a girl and teacher who have gone missing and a journalist looking into the story many years later. Why is everyone lying and what are they covering up?
The story starts in the present day with the journalists discovering the story and then has different chapters for each of the girls stories and how they are all connected. Very powerful story and fast paced that I read it really quickly.
